The UK's toughened response to the ongoing Covid-19 situation means that we have had to press pause on our weekly Love Business News podcast series for the time being.
Rest assured though, we have got some cracking episodes recorded and lined up and normal service will be resumed as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, our good friends Stephen Goddard and Philip Brooks-Stephenson, the managing directors of East Midlands B2B networking brand KuKu Connect, had a virtual sit down with regular Love Business Podcast host Richard Shakespeare this week, to discuss the ongoing coronavirus crisis, what businesses can do to get through it and the importance of staying connected.
A video featuring the podcast has been uploaded to KuKu's YouTube channel and can also be viewed below.
KuKu Connect has made the video available as part of the new, free service it is offering to all East Midlands businesses to help them cope with the ongoing pandemic. It is using its digital and virtual platforms to keep a vital ‘lifeline’ for local organisations to carry on connecting and working together to promote individual businesses and services.
Stephen and Philip will be sending out daily content, which will feature and promote individual businesses and venues who have had to close. They will also be doing 'shout outs' to businesses from each county in the region, asking other business people to connect, as well as business tips on how to carry on with business, positive quotes and a daily song choice.
Stephen said: "KuKu Connect is about supporting and connecting businesses and it is not going to stop now, so we are in a privileged position to have large communication platforms in which we can use these to help businesses, so please use the free services and let’s carry on together, to keep on going, to keep on smiling and to keep on connecting businesses."
