Derbyshire uniform suppliers recognised for work with Tesco at the 2022 PCIAW® Awards

Dimensions, a leading uniform supplier based in Derbyshire, celebrates winning the ‘Best Managed Major Contract’ award for its Tesco uniform rollout at the PCIAW® Awards 2022, an annual ceremony that celebrates excellence in the professional clothing industry.

The Derbyshire-based supplier, part of global company Mi Hub, was recognised for its uniform rollout with supermarket giant Tesco which saw 2.2 million garments for 275,000 uniform-wearing colleagues successfully delivered to over 2,950 locations in less than 65 days. Named ‘Project Blue’, it was the UK’s largest-ever rollout of a new uniform.

Judges at the PCIAW® Awards, which took place on 19th October 2022, were particularly impressed by the sheer scale of the project. The rollout involved all areas of the Dimensions and Tesco business from IT, Branding, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Buying, and the external supply chain. They felt it was a “true demonstration of a Best Managed Major Contract”.
