Derby PR agency strengthens team

Derby-based PR and communications specialists Nielsen McAllister has expanded its team to support continuing growth across its B2B client base, by appointing a new hire and making an internal promotion.

Hannah Woods joins the agency as Account Executive, while Rhiannon Hopper is promoted to Senior Account Executive.

Despite the challenges of studying throughout the pandemic, Hannah recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Journalism and enters the PR world with key writing, communications, and social media skills.

Hannah said:

“I’m so happy to be joining the team and beginning my PR career with Nielsen McAllister. Since starting, I have already expanded my knowledge and I’m very much looking forward to helping our clients across a range of fascinating sectors.

“I’m also able to utilise my journalistic skills in my new role when developing media relationships and writing content. It’s nice to know that the hard work of my degree has paid off.”

Rhiannon Hopper’s recent promotion to Senior Account Executive comes after a hugely successful first year with Nielsen McAllister.

Having joined the team in June 2021 to work with clients across a diverse range of industries, Rhiannon’s new role will involve supervising new and existing accounts as well as managing the junior members of the agency team.

“I’m delighted to have taken on the role of Senior Account Executive. Within just a year, I have been given a huge amount of trust and confidence to support my clients and drive great results, which is a testament to Nielsen McAllister’s commitment to employee development,” said Rhiannon.

“I’m excited to be taking on this next step in my PR career and help strengthen the team as our client portfolio continues to grow.”

Bob Bushby, Nielsen McAllister’s Managing Director said:

“It is fantastic to not only welcome Hannah on board but to also see Rhiannon progress to a Senior Account Executive role, at a time when we’re seeing huge interest in our services”

“We have an incredibly strong team and I feel that Hannah will be a great new addition, bringing her own skill sets, enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to support both our existing portfolio and new clients.”

These latest appointments follow the recent news of Alona Vvedenska joining Nielsen McAllister as a Content Support Executive, who has arrived in the UK after fleeing her home in war-torn Ukraine.
