Brixworth legal firm appoint new recruit

A leading Northamptonshire-based solicitors practice specialising in commercial and residential property has welcomed a former employee back to the team.

Pooja Pattni has re-joined Cox Minhas five years after she first secured a job with the legal firm fresh from university.

In September 2021, Pooja was re-employed by the company, based at Catherine House in Harborough Road, Brixworth, as an intern before completing her post-graduate training scheme just two months later.

Now a qualified assistant solicitor, Pooja is responsible for drafting leases, writing up contracts and liaising with clients, estate agents and other legal organisations.

Pooja said:

“It is a pleasure to be back working at Cox Minhas as it is such a fun and relaxed environment to work in. The team has welcomed me back with open arms by being so supportive whilst I was finishing my legal training.”

She added: “My new role is exciting and fast-paced, and I can’t wait to gain more independence during my time here.”

Saranjit Minhas, owner of Cox Minhas, said:

“Pooja is a great addition to our team, and it was such a sad day when we lost her due to the company moving premises.

“We were delighted when Pooja showed an interest to re-join the team to finish her training as we can now support her during her career as a qualified solicitor.”

Pooja graduated from the University of Leicester in 2016 with a First-Class Degree in Law. She now works three days a week at Cox Minhas alongside other working commitments.

With more than 35 years of service, the team at Cox Minhas work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to share their knowledge and deliver solutions to their most difficult problems.
