Whatton House, the family home and seat of the Lords Crawshaw hosted KuKu Connect for the first physical KuKu Connect Reception for Leicestershire.

Kuku Connect welcomed businesses and organisational leaders into the private family home of the current Lord and Lady Crawshaw, for an excellent evening of KuKu style business networking, or connecting as KuKu say. Hosted by Mr Tim and The Hon. Mrs (Amanda) Eastwood the evening bubbled with business connecting, over champagne, whilst sampling delicious cuisine from celebrity chef Sandie Vara, the Spice Guy with an evening which was accompanied by the talented pianist Harvey Gould, who played an array of music for piano in a beautiful Wedgwood green coloured family drawing room.

Whatton House itself has its delightful gardens and estate which can now cater for large events, weddings, launches, fairs and private parties, as well as the house, which is now open for smaller intimate receptions, christenings, wakes and private client events, such as shoot lunches and private chef dinners, offering a truly homely feel, set in rather splendid surroundings.

Sandie Vara’s cuisine which is now wowing celebrities and entrepreneurs alike included hot-hot chicken wings, with Sandie’s own unique spice blend, pimped up hotdogs and succulent vegetable rolls. Harvey Gould’s repertoire included jazz classics, acoustic style instrumentals of modern popular music, Harvey’s young talent being highly recommended by any event planner, adding an underused classic sophistication to any type of event or private party/wedding.
