Shooting Star Welcomes Three Additions to its Constellation

Award-winning PR, marketing and digital agency Shooting Star has welcomed two new members to its growing team and promoted a third as demand continues to increase for its client services.

Amy Harrison has joined the team as an account executive and Sam Clarke has returned to Shooting Star as Digital Marketing Manager after a year working as Marketing Manager at Visit Lincoln.

Meanwhile Molly Hare has been promoted to account executive after six months as a graduate intern.

Sam is Chartered Institute of Marketing qualified and recently worked on the Town Fund Deal business case for Lincoln.

Sam has worked agency, client side and freelance for over ten years across multiple sectors in a variety of marketing roles. He’s also has a strong background in video production.

Sam said:

“I’m pleased to be back at Shooting Star; I really enjoyed working here in the past and the opportunity to come back and use the new skills and experiences I’ve gained at Visit Lincoln will help me deliver work that makes a real difference to clients.”

Amy, who previously worked in Somerset’s local government sector and is from Lincolnshire originally, has recently moved back to the area.

She brings a wide range of skills from social media and website development to copywriting, video creation and event support.

She also has a BA in Journalism from Brunel University London, after graduating in 2018.

“As my experiences mainly sit within the client side of marketing and communications, I am sure this is going to be a wonderful journey full of learning,” said Amy.

“I’m looking forward to working with both the Shooting Star team and the diverse range of clients currently on their roster.”

Molly’s promotion comes after a six-month graduate internship with Shooting Star, following her graduation from Leeds Beckett University in 2020 with a first-class degree in PR with Journalism.

The internship allowed Molly to work exclusively for one of the agency’s longest established clients, the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

“I’m so pleased to be continuing my journey with such a fantastic agency,” she explained.

“The team have been really supportive through my transition from intern to account executive and the skills I have learned over the last six months have been invaluable, covering tasks such as website development, social media, client communications and copywriting.

“I’m excited to continue working for the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, as well as taking on new challenges for the diverse range of client accounts on Shooting Star’s books.”

Shooting Star now boasts a team of eight, comprising traditional and digital marketers, SEO experts, PR pros and social media gurus.

The agency specialises in media relations, social media, traditional and digital marketing, media training and crisis management.
