LEICESTER DIGITAL AGENCY APPOINTS TWO NEW STARTERS

Cite, the Leicester-based digital agency, has appointed a new Senior Account Manager and Digital Designer to join its team of 21 staff.

Following steady business growth throughout the pandemic period and a recent merger, Cite is expanding its team with the appointment of Lucy Bunting as a Senior Account Manager and Ahmed Abdul as a Digital Designer.

Lucy Bunting brings industry experience following roles with London agencies as well as in-house roles. Lucy will support the account management team to deliver creative and effective projects for clients such as Everbuild and Neville Holt Opera.

Lucy previously worked for J Walter Thompson in account management for five years where she worked on campaigns for major brands such as Nestle, and Toni & Guy. She developed creative assets for TV, print and digital platforms to promote brands and projects. Lucy has also worked in pre-production and post-production for London agencies, Animated Storyboards and UNIT, respectively, where she was involved in sales, management, client relationship, marketing and PR roles.

Ahmed Abdul also joins the team as a Digital Designer, bringing several years of agency experience. Ahmed will work alongside our senior designers and creatives, and help deliver design, branding and campaign work.

Cite Director, Dafydd Prichard said:

“We’re really pleased to welcome Lucy and Ahmed to our team. Following the merger of Cite with Well & Truly, and on the back of steady growth in 2020/21, the team is expanding with roles that extend throughout the agency to enable us to continue to meet the high standards of our clients. As part of our growth strategy, we have plans for more roles in the future which will not only bring jobs to the region but will build on our expertise and ability to help clients achieve success through digital platforms and campaigns.”

Cite recently joined forces with Well & Truly to form a new business that offers one of the most comprehensive brand and digital marketing offerings in the East Midlands. The two companies are pooling complementary skillsets in brand strategy, planning and insight with creative digital marketing expertise. The new company will retain the Cite name prior to a major re-branding later in 2021.
