Cawarden strengthens Board with three key promotions

Derby-based Specialist Contractor, Cawarden,has strengthened its Board with threekey internal promotions. The announcement sees Malcolm Lowes, Oliver Crooks and Samuel Crooks joining the Cawarden Board of Directors with immediate effect.

 

Demolition Director, Malcolm Lowesis a highly experienced demolition professional who has a wealth of experience in all forms of demolition; from simple structures to the delivery of complex multi-million-pound schemes all over the UK.He has full responsibility for the logistical planning and safe delivery of all demolition works. He has over 40 years of industry experience under his belt and seventeen of those have been with Cawarden.  Malcolm now joins the Cawarden Board of Directors.

Bringing their new approaches and fresh perspectives, brothers Oliver and Samuel Crooks have also received promotions and join the Board of Directors. Oliver has stepped up to the role of Commercial Director from Commercial Manager and Samuel to Contracts Director from Demolition Manager.

Oliver is responsible for Cawarden’s commercial and tendering activity, including estimating all types of demolition and site clearance works. He is also responsible for the development of Cawarden’s value proposition to offer clients standalone services or an integrated 'destruction to construction' solution.

Samuel oversees the site management teams who are tasked with the delivery of demolition schemes up to and exceeding the value of three million pounds and is responsible for overall contract delivery and client satisfaction.

Samuel formerly joined the business in 2012 and Oliver in 2013. The brothers have worked hard to get to where they are today, beginning their careers on-site as demolition operatives and rising through the ranks from there. They have built up a wealth of knowledge, practical experience and through training and development, they have had their competencies recognised with top qualifications.

Announcing the appointments today, Cawarden’s Managing Director, William Crooks, said:

Headquartered in Ockbrook in Derby and with over 35 years of experience, Cawarden has a rich history of delivering demolition, land remediation and earthworks projects across the UK for a multitude of public and private sector clients.
