UHY NOTTINGHAM STRENGTHENS SENIOR TEAM WITH NEW HIRE

THE Nottingham office of national accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of new tax partner, Richard Stanley.

Richard will be responsible for supporting a range of diverse clients, providing them with tailored tax solutions and advice using his invaluable knowledge, experience and expertise accumulated throughout his career.

Richard, who specialises in advising owner managed businesses, has joined UHY Nottingham after spending more than 20 years as tax partner at Smith Cooper - overseeing its tax team across the Midlands and managing valuable client relationships.

Richard said:

“I’m delighted to be joining the dedicated tax department here at UHY Nottingham and bringing my experience to what is already a great team.”

“I’m excited about contributing to the business, adding value and working collaboratively with clients and the wider UHY team to deliver tax and general advice to business owners that is robust, commercially viable and practical.”

Richard will head up the Nottingham office’s tax team, helping to expand its specialist services and developing the existing team to achieve their personal development goals.

Andrew Timms, managing partner at UHY Nottingham, added:

“We are delighted to have Richard on board. His breadth of experience across tax matters will be a huge benefit to both our team and our clients, and we’re excited to see the growth and development this will bring to our offering.

“Our tax team is already achieving great things, so we’re really looking forward to seeing how Richard can accelerate this and direct the team towards new levels of innovation and prosperity. We're all looking forward welcoming Richard, and I have no doubt he will be a major asset to the office here in Nottingham.”
