Hallam grows its strategy and marketing offering with six new hires

Award-winning strategic digital marketing agency Hallam has further expanded its team with six new specialists to support major client wins and its new strategy division.

The intake includes hires from digital strategy, SEO, PPC, copywriting, and account management. This follows Hallam recently being appointed as the digital marketing agency for major UK brands such as Boots Hearingcare, Catering24, and WatchPilot.

Hallam’s digital strategy team, which has been core to several of the agency’s recent international award wins, has gained a new Senior Strategist. Julie Reid has worked in customer experience, creative, and content marketing for more than ten years, at the likes of PlanetSHINE and Condé Nast Johansens. As a keen sustainability enthusiast, Julie will be leading Hallam Cares, a project which includes new initiatives on CSR, Diversity and Inclusion, sustainability and wellbeing at Hallam.

Melissa Barnes joins the team as a Project Delivery Manager, working on some of Hallam’s biggest clients to deliver exceptional campaigns. Melissa previously worked in digital project management at Buzzfeed and Who What Wear. She started her career at Condé Nast as a sales executive at Vogue.

Kiorhte Aghogogbe joins the Client Services team as Digital Account Manager. His past roles include account management at Together Agency and at Equator Design, where he worked as Senior Creative Account Manager, managing clients such as Aldi to deliver national product campaigns.

To support the growing demand for SEO and PPC services at Hallam, the team welcomes Rachel Holey as SEO Consultant and Dan Jenkins as Paid Media Consultant respectively. Rachel has worked in digital marketing for more than five years, at companies such as Topman, part of the Arcadia Group based in London, Antalis, Jadu and most recently at Digital Ethos in Leicester. Dan Jenkins brings a wealth of paid and social marketing experience to the award-winning team at Hallam, previously working at Adtrak and Bosch UK.

Rounding up the new hires is Kayleigh Jacobs-Rutter, who Hallam has hired as a Creative Copywriter. Kayleigh has more than 11 years of experience of copywriting under her belt, including as marketing copywriter at University of Nottingham Students’ Union. She will be responsible for creating powerful copy and ensuring the tone of voice is perfect for web projects, SEO and Digital PR campaigns, and more.

Jake Third, Managing Director of Hallam, said: “I’d like to say a massive congratulations to all our new hires. As Hallam continues to grow and innovate, we’re looking forward to both learning new skills and techniques from them, as well as working with the new joiners to help progress their careers and deepen their knowledge in digital marketing, development and design.”

The agency is recruiting for more specialists as it launches its new Hallam Cares initiative. Hallam welcomes applicants from across the UK, as it moved to flexible, remote working in 2020.
