CEO of Barefoot Coaching becomes new ambassador for Women's Work Derbyshire

Kim Morgan, CEO of Barefoot Coaching, has announced her new role as an ambassador for Women’s Work Derbyshire.

In her new position, she will help to promote the award-winning charity’s work among disadvantaged and vulnerable women and children in Derbyshire.

“I feel very honoured to be an Ambassador for Women’s Work Derbyshire. The important and valuable work they do is very close to my heart. Both my professional and life experiences have shown me that, with the right support, women can make a huge difference to their lives” says Kim Morgan.

With over 30 years’ experience in people development, across all sectors of public and private business, Kim draws extensively on her experience of what universally works to make great leaders, successful individual, productive teams, happy families, outstanding organisations and brilliant coaches. She is the CEO of Barefoot Coaching – one of the leading suppliers of coaching and coach training – and an ICF Master Certified Coach.   Kim is a much sought-after conference speaker on all aspects of coaching and coach education, leadership, psychology and change management.

Other members of the Barefoot Coaching network will be encouraged to become involved with Women’s Work Derbyshire. As Women’s Work provides access to training and education opportunities so as to provide women with a springboard into further training, education or employment Kim’s coaching background will play a vital role in its tireless work.

Dionne Reid, CEO at Women’s Work says:

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of entrepreneur, speaker and author Kim Morgan as our new charity ambassador. Her appointment is highly valued and respected as she brings significant vast experience to Women’s Work. We are so looking forward to working together to empower women and children in Derbyshire. We are confident Kim will inspire, shape and strengthen our work here at Women’s Work to outreach to the most helpless and underprivileged of our society, particularly with their Barefoot bespoke programmes on wellbeing, resilience, self-confidence, motivation and healthy relationships, just to name a few”.

Kim’s role will support our fundraising and volunteering activity and ultimately will help promote awareness of our services and to raise vital funds within the region to support our work. This is a really important role for the charity as it will help reaching new people and inspire new fundraising activity.

Founded in 2003, Women’s Work is a multinational award-winning charity seeking to provide women across Derby with the essential skills and self-belief to move forwards on a journey towards living an empowered life by providing personalised programmes of support to reduce the risk of further abuse or harm, improve mental wellbeing, support access to other services and act as a springboard to a better quality of life. Women’s Work Derbyshire aims to encourage women to gain the confidence and skills they need to make positive and lasting life changes.
