Robert Woodhead Ltd sets sights on long term partnerships with new recruit Ranbir

Nottinghamshire based Construction Company Robert Woodhead Ltd has appointed Ranbir Mander as the new Business Development & Bid Manager.

Ranbir will be bringing substantial experience and expertise into both sides of the business, surrounding regeneration and construction within the private and public sectors.

Ranbir’s main priorities in her new role will be maintaining the balance between building and enhancing relationships with existing trusted partners and showcasing previous success stories within the company to generate new long term customers with aligned values.

Chief Visionary Officer, Glenn Slater commented on the appointment

“It is fantastic to have someone on board with such outstanding experience and knowledge within the industry. We are excited to start working alongside Ranbir as her enthusiasm and dedication has immediately become apparent.”

Ranbir began building her stack of qualifications by successfully achieving an Undergraduate, then a Master’s Degree in Regeneration, both at Sheffield Hallam University.

This led to being involved in local authority building programmes, extending her skills surrounding regeneration, economic development and improving operations, whilst planning and designing schemes.

Ranbir then joined the Government Office East Midlands.  Her time at the Local Government included achieving an overall goal of improving communities through the built environment. She then expanded her experience within the construction industry further, before joining Robert Woodhead Ltd. The companies values, game plan and ‘one team’ approach, is what stands out for Ranbir. She said:

“I look forward to enhancing sustainability within our projects, going above and beyond the traditional procurement process, and delivering what is important for our clients. It’s great to be a part of the wider Group, everyone has the desire to excel in what they do, whilst all working in the same direction.”

A key initiative of Ranbir is looking forward to developing is creating a pathway for BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) to gain more recognition within the construction industry by becoming an ambassador for the company.
