Nottingham accountants appoint new partner

Page Kirk, Nottingham-based accountancy firm, continue to grow as they reward Director of Tax Neil Moon with partnership.

The move, which was announced on 6th October, is a recognition of his general contribution to the business, but also a reflection of his outstanding work and commitment throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Moon has twenty years’ experience in tax and started at Page Kirk in 2016, taking on the role of Tax Manager initially. He was promoted to Director of Tax last year, due to his success in growing the personal tax department.

Announcing the partner appointment, Managing Partner John Wallis said:

“We are excited to ask Neil to join the partnership. He has a wealth of expertise and experience, consistently delivering first-class service to our tax clients. At the same time, he has made it a priority to invest in our team members and their career growth, happiness and satisfaction. Neil has implemented new internal policies and techniques to improve processes for the tax team, while developing strategic plans to take the firm forward during the Covid-19 crisis. This promotion is testament to his dedication, hard work and innovation. It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Neil on his promotion on behalf of the whole team.”

Neil Moon commented:

“I’m absolutely delighted to be promoted to partner. It is a real honour and a privilege to be given this opportunity. Page Kirk has a long history of delivering the very best strategic and pro-active advice which I know my fellow partners and all our staff are extremely proud of.

It has been my ambition to become a partner in this firm since joining 4 years ago in 2016 as a manager. It’s taken a huge amount of hard work but I genuinely couldn’t have done it without the support of an amazing team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, the management team, my fellow partners and of course every member of my tax team for their exemplary professionalism and sheer dedication. I’m extremely proud of everything we have achieved so far.

I’m very excited about the future and look forward to continuing to develop the tax department and build long term relationships with our clients.”The new partner appointment reflects the strong growth of Page Kirk and the success of the firm in supporting clients through the coronavirus crisis and its associated challenges. It comes hot on the heels of the appointment of five new members of staff in the previous month.
