Enterprise Loans New Hire To Support £3m Funding Boost For Lincolnshire Smes

BUSINESS support and funding provider Enterprise Loans East Midlands (ELEM) has appointed a new business advisor to support Lincolnshire SMEs as £3m is set aside for the next three years.

Enterprise Loans is a responsible finance provider, supporting SMEs and start-ups across the East and South East Midlands with business advice and loans of between £3,000 - £150,000.

Callum Handley, who joins the team at Enterprise Loans as a business advisor after working in private and commercial banking for a number of years, will be responsible for supporting entrepreneurs across Lincolnshire.

He said:

“Having the opportunity to work for an organisation that truly has its clients’ best interests at heart is what initially drew me to apply for the role. Our clients have decided to take a very daunting step by starting their own business and I can’t wait to support each person through the process and see their businesses thrive.

“It’s an exciting time for the region and I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to meet passionate and ambitious entrepreneurs from across Lincolnshire. Getting a real understanding of their business and helping them to achieve their business goals is what Enterprise Loans is all about.”

The not-for-profit organisation uses a variety of different funding streams including its own ELEM pot, the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) and Start Up Loans to support businesses across the country.

Adrian Twelvetrees, senior investment manager at Enterprise Loans, said:

“We want to put a real focus on supporting Lincolnshire, which is why we’re aiming to lend more than £3m to small businesses in the county over the next three years. We’ve already supported some fantastic start-ups in the area and look forward to meeting many more budding entrepreneurs soon.

“We’re thrilled that Callum has join the team, his years of experience and knowledge in business banking will be incredibly valuable for our clients and we can’t wait to see what the coming months will bring for him and Enterprise Loans.”
