Awards call for best financial talent in the region

Awards call for best financial talent in the region

A chance to celebrate the brightest stars in the region’s financial community is back as the East Midlands Finance Awards returns to the social calendar.

Last year saw entries from over 30 businesses and over 150 guests attending the awards evening and this year is already looking to be bigger and better, according to Alex Alcock, director of Distinct Recruitment, and organiser of the awards;

"We are delighted to launch this year’s awards following what was an incredibly well-received new concept last year," explained Alex.

"They are a fantastic opportunity which we devised because we truly believe that the East Midlands is the best place in the UK to build a career in the industry. The logical step for us was to create an event which recognised this and to be honest, its success exceeded our expectations.

"We know we have something great here and with the help of our event partners, we’re able to ensure that the 2020 awards will be even bigger and better than last year.

"I would encourage everyone in the Finance sector to take a look at the awards. They are a superb way to showcase your business, your skills and are absolutely fantastic for team morale. They can also help you to highlight people within your organisation or indeed those outside of it that support your business by going the extra mile or who have simply gone 'above and beyond' and deserve to be recognised."

The EMFAs are a not-for-profit event with all proceeds being donated to three charity partners - Wishes 4 Kids, When You Wish Upon A Star and Children First Derby.

The awards are free to enter until 31 March and the winners will be unveiled on 23 June. More information can be found at https://www.distinctrecruitment.com/emfa.
