Diversity Conference for business and community leaders

Diversity Conference for business and community leaders

Leading figures from business and the community will come together to look at engaging with diverse populations.

The Connecting with Communities Diversity and Inclusion Conference aimns to support delegates in building better, more effective relationships with a range of diverse employees and groups.

Featuring keynote speakers including Chief Superintendent Karen Geddes, of West Midlands Police, Dr Elizabeth Crundall, of UXcentric Ltd, and Actor and Facilitator Ian Pringle, of the Face Up Theatre, this conference will get to the heart of the matter.

It takes place 17 September, between 10am and 4pm, at the Heartlands Club, in Birmingham.

Workplace Diversity Solutions has organised the event in conjunction with Kenroi Consulting to give guidance, advice and practical solutions on how to engage with hard to reach communities.

Whether you are trying to attract a diverse talent pool into your business, you are responsible for stakeholder engagement, or you are looking at how to be more accessible to a broader range of consumers - this conference is one not to be missed.

Richard Shakespeare, managing director of Workplace Diversity Solutions, said: "Appealing to the broadest possible audience and creating inclusive customer experiences is vital for any business or organisation.

"We have seen first-hand some of the challenges that can be faced when trying to engage with communities, that is why we decided to team up the experts from Kenroi Consulting and put on this one-day event in the heart of Birmingham.

"So many conferences are held in hotels, head offices and are distant from the very people and groups that the conference is designed to engage with, that's why we wanted an event in the heart of the community that have a real impact on the people attending."

Ideally suited to community leaders, business owners and those looking to be more open and inclusive, early bird tickets can be booked online
