Team Hallam Sleeps in Haunted Museum for Local Charity

Team Hallam aims to raise funds for the Samaritans of Nottingham with a lights-off sleepover on 15th September at the National Justice Museum – one of Britain’s most haunted venues.
18 Hallam employees are challenging themselves to spend a night in darkness as a gesture of solidarity for those battling mental health issues. Their action is seeking to encourage people to face the darkness in their lives and open up about their struggles.
The Samaritans of Nottingham are Hallam Internet’s chosen charity of the year. The team’s goal is to raise £2017 by the end of the year for the Nottingham branch of the organisation.
The team will be giving up their comfortable beds for a night in the Grand Jury Room. They will have access to all five underground floors which include cells, caves and dungeons.
The money raised will go directly to the Nottingham branch of the Samaritans and will help people in the local community. Every £4 raised allows the Samaritans to answer a life-saving call for help.
