I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Interval Ice Cream!

Leicestershire recruitment specialists Flowers Associates are offering complimentary ice creams for all at a special performance of Grease the Musical, sponsored by the company at Curve, this January.

The performance by FTM - an organisation providing dance, drama and music respite sessions for children, young people and adults with disabilities – will see Flowers Associates provide all audience members interval ice cream to make the an exciting day extra special. Members of staff from the Rothley based company will also be on hand to assist on the day alongside volunteers from FTM and Curve.

120 members of the FTM group were involved in the creative process for this special performance of Grease the Musical/ including choreography, choosing characters and designing props. FTM have used many techniques to engage the students in the learning process, furthering their understanding of the story behind Grease.

The performance will be a relaxed performance, which is suitable for audience members with additional needs and will also be interpreted in British Sign Language (BSL). The young people have chosen which parts of the Grease story they wanted to share with the audience, to make it appropriate for the whole family to enjoy. Curve are opening the building and facilitating access and support for FTM and the performers to have a fantastic opportunity to present their work on the actual Grease set to an audience of more than 700 guests.

The supply of interval ice cream is just one of a range of innovative, fun and effective sponsorship opportunities for businesses from Curve that are designed to make a lasting impression and be of real benefit to the community, whilst raising funds for Curve’s charitable work.

Adam Flowers, Managing Director of The Flowers Group said: “We have supported Curve in different ways over recent years and it's an honour to be involved in important community projects. Great things happen when a group of talented people are brought together and this show highlights the important work Curve do within local Leicestershire.”

Tickets for the show  on the 8th January are complimentary and can be booked by calling Curve Ticket Office on 0116 2423595.
