PKF Cooper Parry Announces Partnership With Burton Albion Community Trust

Midlands-based PKF Cooper Parry has agreed a partnership with the Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT), which will see it support the club’s exciting Able Too Albion disability football programme.

L-R: Andy Taylor, Head of Community, Brett Critchley, IT Solution Partner at PKF and John Widdowson, Health and Inclusion Manager.

The firm’s IT Solutions team, which operates across the East and West Midlands, already provides IT support to the Burton Albion Community Trust, a registered charity which delivers programmes across five main themes: participation, social inclusion, disability, education and health.

Its Able Too Albion initiative is a disability football programme that offers five to 16 year olds the chance to learn new skills, play fun games and meet new friends in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment.

The programme works alongside Able Too United to organise regular sporting events and provide participants with the opportunity to represent Burton Albion in matches and tournaments.

PKF Cooper Parry is the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firm and recently reported its strongest financial year on record. It is the only accountancy firm to make the 2016 Sunday Times List of 100 Best Companies to work for.

The IT Solutions team at PKF Cooper Parry supplies a range of accounting software, IT products and support, data cabling and services to more than 180 companies - from small start-up business to large corporates.

Commenting on the partnership with the BACT, Brett Critchley, IT solutions partner at PKF Cooper Parry said:

“We are delighted to be partnering with Burton Albion Community Trust, who we have worked with for several years now.

“The Trust’s programmes make a big impact across the community and we are delighted to be supporting the fabulous Able Too Albion initiative, which fulfils a very valuable role in the community.”

Andy Taylor, BACT’s Head of Community, added:

“Partnerships like this enable us to build as a trust and continue to engage with thousands of people every week.

“Without these kind of partnerships it would be much harder for us to make these projects a success, so we thank firms like PKF Cooper Parry for their invaluable support.”

PKF Cooper Parry IT Solutions is the only firm of business advisors with Microsoft ERP Gold partner status and the only firm in its league to be a Gold Dynamics NAV Advisor, Microsoft Cloud Accelerate partner and Datto Elite Partner. It was recently approved as a Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Service Provider (CSP), a status normally restricted to the largest resellers.
