RBS wade in and save the day after floods

After a period of heavy rainfall and adverse weather, Norfolk-based APEA (A.P East Anglia) experienced the devastating effects of floodwater after their premises became badly damaged.

APEA, an independent food processing company specialising in frozen vegetables, enlisted the help of Derby-based RBS (Relocatable Building Systems) to provide a rapid solution.

RBS stepped in and responded swiftly, installing two modular office buildings and number of further self-contained buildings for APEA which allowed their team to get back to work safely and quickly with just a 3-week turnaround time from initial enquiry to completion.

APEA, on the service they received, commented: “RBS acted promptly in delivery and installation, getting us out of a muddle with flooded offices, anything we asked was never a problem, even down to working out what we needed due to Covid-19.”

Adam Smith, Managing Director at RBS said: “As specialists in creating unique solutions for many different types of business, we were keen to do all we could to support the team at APEA.

“Our experience meant that we were able to quickly assess the situation and provide modular buildings that met their requirements. We are extremely proud to be able to deliver the same great service despite logistical challenges during these difficult times.”
