Glenrose launches new online financial advice service

Derby-based Glenrose Financial Planners has launched a new online financial advice portal as part of its strategic plans for growth.

The firm, which provides businesses with a wide range of insurance and investment advice and assistance with corporate tax, as well as helping families and individuals with retirement planning and mortgages, hopes the new service will help it to reach a wider customer base across the East Midlands and the rest of the UK.

It has invested in the technology and software required to enable it to offer a full financial planning service virtually, in the same way as it’s face-to-face service.

Clients can make an initial appointment via an online booking system and receive all the documents they need ahead of the first meeting. They will then have a 60-minute session with one of Glenrose’s financial advisers to discuss their needs.

After the meeting, the planner will draw up a report and recommendations based on their requirements, before a second meeting takes place to sort all the paperwork. All transactions and documents can be securely signed and verified electronically, in accordance with GDPR regulations.

Chris Leafe, Director at Glenrose, said: “Our new online financial planning service allows us to broaden our horizons, reach a wider customer base and also offer our existing clients a more convenient way to meet with us to discuss all their investment, mortgage, pension and protection needs.

“One good thing that has come out of the Covid-19 lockdown is that more people than ever are using videoconferencing and other technologies to communicate.

“Our new online portal will sit alongside our other financial planning services to offer customers more choice in the way they want to engage with us.

“Most of our customers are based in and around Derby, but this virtual service will enable us to cover a wider geography in the East Midlands and further afield.

“We believe we provide a unique and valuable proposition, thanks to our jargon-free, straightforward, no-nonsense approach and we want to make it as widely available as possible.

“We’ve already started working with a new client, in Liverpool, since launching the service, which demonstrates not only the need for what we do, but the potential that online technology has for opening up new markets for us to explore.”

Anyone interested can book an initial appointment online at www.glenroseifa.co.uk.
