AMDH Services Ltd set for prestigious healthcare conference

East-Midlands based IT consultancy AMDH Services will be presenting at the prestigious Convenzis Healthcare Digital Technology Congress, where its Managing Director, Andrew Horler, will talk about his experience of migrating a large council client over to Office 365 and Azure.

As well as hosting a presentation at the event, which takes place at London's Prospero House, on 27 February, Andrew will man a stall in order to engage with attendees on a personal level, allowing him to speak about how the solutions implemented and managed by AMDH Services can work to improve business operations.

The presentation that Andrew will hold is set to discuss the recent £800,000 contract he has just completed with Nottinghamshire County Council, a collaboration that saw the company provide technical leadership into the brand new multi-million-pound cloud programme that the council is now using. 

Not one to shy away from problems, Andrew will discuss both the positive processes and the bumps in the road that the company dealt with during this migration, as well as explain everything that he feels people should know before they implement cloud migration.

Cloud technology isn’t a new format, and it is a platform that has been around since 2006, when Google CEO Eric Schmidt introduced the term and its function at a conference, yet it still remains ambiguous to many businesses and professionals.

AMDH's team works tirelessly to promote Cloud technology, as well as helping businesses to migrate over and use the platform in a way that can boost productivity and overall business performance.

Andrew said: “I am very excited and honoured to be holding a presentation at such a prestigious event within the IT healthcare industry.

“I want those who listen to my presentation to feel more informed about the migration programme, and hopefully feel more confident in moving forward with such a plan for their own business.”

As an IT expert, Andrew is passionate about using cloud versus traditional delivery models and hopes to speak to businesses who are looking at implementing this within their technology strategy.

Andrew added: “I am looking forward to engaging with authorities and hopefully demonstrating to delegates how they can benefit from cloud solutions.

“I believe that using cloud is an extremely effective strategy as it allows you to innovate with less risk, at a lower cost, and gives you more rapid access to technology developments from the tech giants.”
