Victory for Pygott & Crone at Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards

Estate agent Pygott & Crone had a stellar evening at the Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards last week taking home multiple awards, including Agent of the Year.

The fourth annual black-tie event welcomed more than 350 guests at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln last Thursday (6 February), celebrating the success of key players and developments in the construction and property industry.

Lincolnshire-based Pygott & Crone was crowned Agent of the Year for the second time at the coveted awards, for successfully making a positive impact on the region’s property landscape. Following this success, director Tim Downing took home a special edition accolade for this year - ‘The Greater Lincolnshire Ambassador Award’ which recognises individuals in the industry who go above and beyond the core of their day job.

Headquartered in Sleaford, Lincoln, with offices across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and London, Pygott & Crone employs 120 people and provides estate agent services for clients in the public and private sectors, providing a high level of customer service.

It has been a successful past year for Pygott and Crone, with solid growth in all areas of the business, including the employment of 12 new team members and successful property sales in excess of £250million across the UK.

Notable residential and commercial property developments sold in the Lincolnshire region include One The Brayford – all 100 luxury apartments have been sold, The Parklands in Sudbrooke – a new village of over 160 houses, Handley Chase in Sleaford – a new development of over 400 houses and Leafbridge in North Hykeham – a premier new East Midlands business park with the first three phases now sold out.

A founding member of Team Lincolnshire, Pygott & Crone are passionate about promoting the county to local, regional and international clients and the company is also a founding member of Dynamic Lincoln, a property and construction networking group that promotes the industry in the county. This group has now been involved in bringing in £40million of inward investment into Lincolnshire.

Another venture launched in 2019 by the company was Generation Lincoln – a property and construction group set up for young professionals in the region that had its first successful event in Lincoln in December last year

Jasper Caudwell, chartered surveyor at Pygott & Crone, said:

“We are thrilled to be crowned Agent of the Year for the second time at the prestigious Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards.

“This win is testament to our dedicated and hardworking team and it recognises all the positive company growth that we’ve been working towards, as well as the high level of estate agent service we always strive to provide in the region and beyond.”

In 2019, Pygott & Crone joined the council and districts to embark on a successful trade mission to the Human province of China and will be returning in March 2020 to sign an agreement for major investment into the county.

Tim Downing, director at Pygott & Crone, said:

“I’m honoured to have received the Greater Lincolnshire Ambassador Award. Lincolnshire is close to my heart and I strive to do everything I can for the good of the region’s business community, I enjoy being part of it and am truly touched to be recognised for this accolade.”

Organised by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards judges praised Pygott & Crone for its services to the property industry. Judge Nick Pettit, project manager, RG Carter said:

“This is a very well-deserved award win for Pygott & Crone, a truly dedicated team that works hard and should be proud of its success. Tim was first choice for the Ambassador award – which is a new and special addition for this year. A true gentleman, he has time for everyone and puts Lincoln and Lincolnshire in the forefront of everyone’s minds. A great ambassador to us all and a richly deserved award win, well done.”
