Rock Fall Safety Boots expand range to improve offering to Emergency Services Sector

The second-generation family owned Safety Boot manufacturer has a reputation for prolific levels of new developments in Safety Footwear.

The company which operates from one secure site based on Wimsey Way in Alfreton sells their range via distributors all over the world.

Recognising the size of demand in the Emergency Services sector both domestically and overseas, they developed a range of patrol and uniform boots designed for day wear which they have recently supplemented with a highly durable but formal shoe. It features a FORCE10® Solid Nitrile Rubber sole unit which is tested to extraordinary abrasion and heat performance levels.

The RF111 Graphene is now available in sizes UK 3-16 including half sizes for 6.5 and 10.5 (the equivalent of European 40 and 45).

The range now sits with 5 styles with Rock Fall starting to develop a range of highly specialist and innovative styles for the environments that the Frontline Emergency Services staff face. This includes the firefighting industry, paramedics and police. The senior management team anticipate that new styles will be launched throughout late 2020 and into 2021.

Speaking about the developments Matthew Noon, Director said:

“The RF111 Graphene is a great development for us, it’s incredibly comfortable from the first wear and we anticipate that due to the sole unit it could last 3-5 years when looked after by wearers in the emergency services sector. It’s important to us that we do all we can for these industries as they provide the frontline public services that help us feel safe and secure, maintaining our way of life. Some of the new developments we are working on now are incredibly exciting we’re including components that stop blood penetration, provide unbelievable heat insulation properties and improve performance. We are optimistic that we will also be able to reduce costs for these public sector organisations too.”
