Staffordshire businesses are forming partnerships thanks to the region’s largest business expo

Businesses across Staffordshire have forged successful partnerships as a result of the Let’s Do Business Expo.

 

 

 

The annual event which took place on Thursday 29 June at Uttoxeter Racecourse welcomed over 1200 delegates to a platform from which they had the opportunity to network, ask for referrals, form mutually beneficially partnerships and spread awareness about their business.

Networking is one of the most effective ways to promote and build business and so making Let’s Do Business a must for any organisation looking to connect and share information with new and existing contacts.

Chris Plant, Director at the Chambers of Commerce, commented: “Let’s Do Business further illustrates our aim of finding ways of bringing businesses together from across the region and to create a vibrant hub of opportunity.

“The day was a fantastic success. Staffordshire is home to thousands of thriving businesses and Let’s Do Business is a key tool in supporting companies to grow further.”

The team at Uttoxeter Racecourse were proud to support and host yet another successful Let’s Do Business Expo.

David MacDonald, Executive Director of Uttoxeter Racecourse, said, “Over the past four years we have formed a number of strong partnerships during the expo including relationships with our design agency, videographer, cleaning contractors, uniform suppliers, our official charity partners and a number of sponsors.

“The relationships formed during this event, are long-lasting and ensure continued support to the local economy.”

 

Nasar Riaz, Director of Abzorbed Events, said: “The Let’s Do Business Expo offered tangible and definite benefits for our business – helping us to meet over twenty businesses within one day. These leads have already been converted to five sales with more to follow up over the week.” 

Delegates also heard from guest speaker and BBC’s The Apprentice finalist, Nick Holzherr; a tech entrepreneur and owner of businesses Whisk, Helium and Air; innovative companies within the tech industry. Nick spoke about his time filming for the BBC’s The Apprentice and gave tips to Staffordshire businesses on how best to manage their time.

Nick said: "I am delighted to have been invited to speak at the Let's Do Business Expo. It seems apt to have spoken to delegates about how to use their time wisely to grow their business at an event that offers businesses within the area a great opportunity to grow their business in a number of ways from one expedient and convenient platform.”
