Leicestershire lighting firm to bolster UK-US export links at CONEXPO

VENTOLA® Projects is heading to the bright lights of Las Vegas next month as part of plans to champion its booming export credentials at the famous CONEXPO.

And the firm will be representing a much wider UK Federal Trade Delegation that seeks to bolster its links in the US construction sector.

Ventola, a bespoke lighting specialist business from Leicester, has already been making waves in the US with its LED systems, completing installations from Florida in the south to Maine in the north and as far west as California and Las Vegas.

And now the company, headed up by MD Mick Ventola, will be looking to expand those horizons at the CONEXPO event – North America’s largest construction trade show – next month on March 10 -14.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the best of British on a global stage,” said Mick.

“The UK-US link has always been an especially important one, and perhaps never more so with the uncertainty around Brexit at the moment.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to set up my own distribution here in America, working with some of the best-known entertainment and resort complexes in the states.

“And now I’ll be looking to represent further the role that both my products and the wider construction industry can offer the US market, as the UK seeks to strengthen its trade links across the world.”

Ventola’s US operations have been expanding rapidly in recent months, with well-known leisure complexes and entertainment facilities increasingly snapping up his signature VAvR LED lighting range.

Most recently, their number included the Whirlyball Twin Cities complex in Minneapolis, where Ventola kitted out approximately 40,000 sq ft of space.

The work is indicative of Ventola’s entertainment market offering – a multi-function LED system that can switch from general lighting to colour changing mood lighting or UV glow effects at the touch of a button.

Projects typically range from a couple of thousand pounds to just over £170,000 and have been installed by Ventola at high profile sites such as Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Tricorp Amusement JW Marriot in Florida.

His achievements overseas caught the eye of the UK Department for International Trade, who last year named Ventola Midlands Engine Export Champion 2019, giving Mick further encouragement to tout UK exports across the world.

“It’s really been an incredible honour to fly the flag for Britain,” added Mick.

“And now at CONEXPO next month, I’ll be helping to extend the scale and reach of British exports on a huge platform – I can’t wait.”

Ventola Projects and the wider UK Federal Trade Delegation will be located at booth GL32209, situated in the Grand Lobby, at CONEXPO Las Vegas next month.
