Award-winning HR firm announce partnership with Wellbeing4Life

Leicestershire based HR consultancy, Breedon Consulting, have announced a partnership with health and wellbeing coaches Wellbeing4Life, to offer the Breedon Workplace Wellbeing Programme.

Providing a flexible and inexpensive one-year programme for SMEs, the joint venture will combine Breedon Consulting and Wellbeing4Life services, to offer a collaborative programme targeting the challenges and requirements faced by business owners and their employees.

The announcement follows a significant rise in employees struggling with workplace stress and their mental health, affected heavily by the COVID-19 pandemic, with it being reported that 37% of businesses have seen an increase in stress-related absence over the last year and a 60% increase in common mental health problems.*

Wellbeing4Life provide impactful, evidence-based programmes to support, guide and motivate individuals and businesses to achieve positive change for their mental health and wellbeing. The programme’s intention will be to empower individuals to take responsibility for their own health and ensures businesses have the ability to embed and continue to develop and sustain their staff wellbeing.

The programme will offer bronze, silver and gold packages which host a variety of content such as first aid for mental health awareness training, manager check-ins, 1:1 coaching and workshops and a wellbeing champions programme.

On the partnership, Nicki Robson, managing director of Breedon Consulting, said:

“We are so pleased to be partnering with Wellbeing4Life on this exciting new venture.

"Mental health and workplace wellbeing support shouldn’t come down to ticking a box with a one-off activity. The challenge for many small businesses is that embedded programmes can be costly meaning that SMEs are less likely to have an impact with staff engagement and making them feel valued.”

“This is where the Breedon workplace welling programme steps in, with our ethos of providing SME’s with the breadth of support that’s usually reserved for large corporates.”

It is estimated that 68% of UK businesses lose over £40 billion a year due to the impact of stress alone** and yet a good, evidence-based wellbeing strategy that is aligned to business values, mission and goals has been proven to deliver a return on investment of up to £9 from every £1 invested.*

This holistic style approach can translate to reductions in sickness absence, presenteeism and staff turnover and increases in productivity, creativity and retention which all equals business success.

Co-founder of Wellbeing4Life, Elain Crewe, said:

“We are delighted to be working with Breedon Consulting on this fantastic new partnership. There is a wealth of evidence highlighting how employees continue to struggle with their mental health and wellbeing pre and post pandemic.”

“It’s more important than ever for employers to ensure the right level of support is available to help these individuals thrive in the workplace.  Quite simply when employees thrive, the business thrives.  Therefore, we have made it our mission to offer a range of services as part of a bespoke package alongside Breedon Consulting, adapted to ensure the programme is easily accessible to SME’s – taking into account different requirements and budgets.”

Each company will be introducing the combined services to new and existing clients. Those that sign up to new joint services can benefit from choosing a package that works for them and financial payment plan that can be spread across the year.
