David Brown Commercial agree a new letting with an established Greek restaurant in Derby city centre

David Brown Commercial are delighted to have let 9-11 Bold Lane to Zorba the Greek, a traditional Greek restaurant on behalf of private clients.

The former Iberico building is situated on Bold Lane close to the base of Sadler Gate forming part of Derby’s established night time circuit.  

Michael Green, Chartered Surveyor at David Brown Commercial commented:

“After exposing the property to the open market, we were delighted to have agreed and completed the letting to Zorba the Greek. They have been looking to open a second restaurant for quite some time, having run their successful and established authentic Greek Restaurant in Chelmsford for five years which I understand is very popular with local people there. I am delighted that they have chosen the city of Derby for their second premises and wish them every success."

Zorba the Greek commented:

“We are thrilled to bring an authentic Greek restaurant to the City of Derby. We have invested significantly in the restaurant to create a traditional Greek dining experience. We have had many requests for bookings since opening earlier this month. Our food is prepared by Greek chefs in a traditional way and I invite you to come and try us."
