Konica Minolta partners with Digital Office Services to deliver enhanced print and digital solutions

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has today announced its new partnership with East Midlands-based Digital Office Services (DOS). The partnership provides customers in the region with new options to purchase Konica Minolta products and source locally based accredited expert servicing, whilst DOS’s existing customers benefit from greater choice in managed print and digital solutions from the market-leading manufacturer.

Steve Critchley, Director at Digital Office Services comments,

“We are delighted to be joining forces with Konica Minolta to deliver even wider choice in the premier print and digital solutions on offer to our customers. This is all backed up by our expert team of trained and accredited service engineers, along with direct support from the manufacturer.”

Following initial discussions, it was clear that Konica Minolta would be the perfect partner to assist Digital Office Services with its ambitious market growth and development plans, as Steve added,

“We were looking to expand our range, particularly the production print offering, and Konica Minolta’s deservedly respected products are perfectly placed to do this. The company has been incredibly open and supportive in developing this relationship from the very beginning, with a clear focus on supporting customers and growing our market share together.”

Jack McPhillips, Marketing Executive at Digital Office Services, also comments,

“Expert consultative sales advice and technical service assistance are key to our success and will be our foundations in becoming a key strategic Konica Minolta supplier in the East Midlands and beyond. We understand that businesses need to evolve and adapt to an ever-changing commercial landscape, so we provide companies with the best and most cost-effective support in doing this – local experts who are on hand to ensure your business thrives whatever challenges we all face.”

The partnership presents exciting opportunities for both parties, as Neil Hamilton, UK Channel Development Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd comments, “Steve and the team have built an exceptional business, which is firmly established and has a well-deserved reputation for sales and support excellence. Now is the perfect time for DOS to widen its portfolio and proposition with enhanced print and digital solutions from Konica Minolta.” He adds,

“We are excited to be working together to offer customers new opportunities, choices and the best professional support.”

The new partnership is perfectly timed to support customers as workforces begin to return from lockdown restrictions, as Steve elaborates, “We work with customers across numerous sectors, and whilst some have slowed down during the pandemic, many areas such as production print and plastics manufacturers, have thrived. This diversity of customers, across a broad range of sectors, is a key component of our success and central to our growth plans in partnership with Konica Minolta.”

Steve concludes,

“Expert print and digital solutions services will be key components in rebuilding the economy. We are primed to help and support our customers with their current and future needs.”

Reflecting upon the new partnership, Cameron Mitchell, Business Unit Leader (Partner Channel) at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd also added, “With a heritage spanning over 25 years DOS has an exceptional reputation. We are delighted to be offered the opportunity to work with their team and look forward to helping DOS fuel their next period of growth.”
