Catch of the day as NG provides retail boost for Nottingham

The retail sector in Arnold, Nottingham, has been given a much-needed boost after commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors brokered a deal for a fast-growing fishmonger to open a third outlet.

Nottingham Fishmonger Limited has taken a 10-year lease at 91a Front Street in Arnold - and has created six new jobs to add to the 10 people who are employed in its two other stores.

Shahin Wahab owns the company, which has moved into the 1,000 sq ft unit. He said:

"91a Front Street is a prime retail space and means we can fulfil our ambitions to expand into Arnold. The area has thrived through the pandemic as people have stayed local, and we're looking forward to adding to the vibrant retail mix on Front Street.

"I'd like to thank Sunny and the team at NG Chartered Surveyors for making the move to Arnold as easy as it possibly could have been. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I'd recommend them to any other businesses looking to expand."

Sunny Landa, director of NG, added:
