AN award-winning Derbyshire IT firm is working with electrical goods and cleaning giants Vax to provide the cutting-edge technology needed to increase their growth in the UK.

Axess Systems, one of the country’s leading IT service providers, has agreed a deal to help Vax with a redesign of their infrastructure and ongoing maintenance. Using VMWare and Dell Technologies, Vax will be able to increase productivity, boost revenue and strengthen their network.

 

Will Lingard, director at Axess Systems, who has led the deal. He said:

“We first worked with Vax five years ago when they were planning for the opening of their flagship warehouse in the UK.

“Over the years, they have invested heavily in cutting edge technology to increase productivity for their business and this project will see Axess Systems provide the transformation overhaul of their IT infrastructure to see Vax into the next stage of their UK growth.

“When Coronavirus hit and all companies had to shift to remote working, Vax was able, utilising the previous investments, to enable full remote working in under two days. This included more than 75 people who work in the contract centre.

“Vax are now looking forward to a more hybrid approach to working and the new investment will deliver the foundations of this project.”

Axess Systems, which celebrated its 20th year in business in 2020, specialises in providing IT leaders with services for virtualisation and digital infrastructure. It also provides IT consultancy, support services and managed cloud services for a diverse range of sectors across the UK including education, transportation, aerospace, automotive, engineering and finance.
