Staton Young acquire major Derby site

Staton Young are ending 2020 on a high after completing on their biggest acquisition of the year, Northgate House in Derby, purchased for an undisclosed sum.

The five-storey building is just under an impressive 45,000 sq. ft. and borders with Agard Street and Friar Gate close to the city centre. Northgate House has remained unoccupied since HM Revenue and Customs relocated to Nottingham.

Staton Young are delighted with this latest addition to their expanding Derby property portfolio. The building is predominately open plan with a very impressive frontage to Friar Gate, there is also valuable carparking available. Northgate House is immediately adjacent to the inner ring road, resulting in close access to all parts of the city centre. Staton Young are currently exploring various different avenues regarding the future of the site and works are planned to commence in 2021.
