Love Business News backs huge charity quiz night

Love Business News has given its backing to a huge charity quiz night in Leicester in support of children safeguarding charity Warning Zone Life Skills Centre.

Warning Zone is a life skills centre, based in Leicester and aims to provide children, across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, with key skills on how to behave and keep safe in the community and online.

It deals with subjects such as knife crime and road, fire, railway, water and online safety.

It annual corporate quiz and curry night is a key fundraising event in Warning Zones' calendar. Last year the event attracted over 300 local businesses, raising a substantial amount for the Leicester charity.

This year it hopes more than 350 local business will get on board and back the event, which takes place at the Morningside Arena, Leicester, on 19 September. Leicester solicitors Bray & Bray is the event's headline sponsor. 

Steve Megson, managing director of Love Business News founder Quiet Storm Solutions, said: "Supporting the community is a value we hold dear at Love Business, so we are delighted to be backing this event in aid of a local charity which does vital work in keeping children and young people across Leicestershire safe. 

"Love Business is all about bringing businesses and the community together, so we hope as many local firms as possible follow out lead and support this event, which is set to be a fun-packed evening of friendly competition."   

Businesses are encouraged to enter a team of six. Multiple teams are allowed and there are a host of prizes on offer to the best-performing teams.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person and include a curry and naan bread.

There will also be raffle prizes and a fully licensed bar at the event.
