IDT tees off new sponsorship deal with Erewash Valley Golf Club to help bring forward young talent

Ilkeston-based managed IT specialist IDT has revealed a new sponsorship deal with Erewash Valley Golf Club's Junior Section.

IDT's support will help the club attract more beginners and get them involved in its junior coaching programmes. The sponsorship will also enable the club to do more for its junior members, including extra specialist coaching and inter-club matches.

John Tracey from Erewash Valley Golf Club said:

"A huge thank you to IDT who have very kindly agreed to sponsor our Junior Section and Junior Open this year.

"We are passionate about helping young people take up the game of golf, and then work hard at improving their skills until they excel. Our juniors get brilliant opportunities to meet with people of all ages and all walks of life, learn how to conduct themselves and have loads of fun at the same time. It is a fantastic experience."

Luke Draper, Managing Director at IDT, said:

"Ever since we were announced as joint main sponsor of the new driving range at Erewash Valley Golf Club, one of the East Midlands’ premier golfing locations, last September, we've wanted to extend that deal to help the club attract more younger members. IDT has a long history of supporting local sporting initiatives and  works extensively with the Notts County Foundation to help provide vital support to some of Nottinghamshire’s most disadvantaged young people.

IDT is also the Social Media and Youtube Highlights sponsor at Southern League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town FC for the third successive year.
