IT experts show sporting side with hat-trick of sponsorship deals

Ilkeston-based managed IT specialist IDT has announced a trio of sponsorships with sports and leisure clubs – the latest in a string of deals with prominent East Midlands-based sporting organisations secured by the fast-growing firm.

IDT, which works extensively with the Notts County Foundation to help provide vital support to some of Nottinghamshire’s most disadvantaged young people, has been announced as joint main sponsor of the new driving range at Erewash Valley Golf Club, one of the East Midlands’ premier golfing locations, in a deal which will run for three years.

In addition, Premier Golf has chosen the IT experts to sponsor the 16th tee of the championship course for a period of three years – an agreement which will see IDT’s branding displayed prominently on the tee sign and on the Ilkeston-based Club’s website.

The firm has also sponsored two of the new painted doors in the swimming pool at Portland Leisure Centre in the Meadows area of Nottingham, further cementing its long-standing relationship with the Notts County Foundation, which runs the Centre. The historic pool, originally built in 1914 and a much-loved community resource for many years, recently received a long-overdue lick of paint thanks to the support of a number of kind-hearted local companies.

Capping the hat-trick of deals, IDT has agreed to continue in its role as Social Media and Youtube Highlights sponsor at Southern League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town F.C. for the third successive year.

The sponsorship deals come off the back of a stellar year to date for IDT, which has defied the downward curve suffered by many UK businesses over the past 12 months by notching up a wealth of new business wins and recording a 30% increase in turnover this summer.
