Developer reveals “top” views from luxury waterside scheme in Nottingham

East Midlands developer Peter James Homes has published the first photographs taken from the top of what will soon be a luxury apartment complex on the banks of the River Trent.

The development, named Riverside, is being built on the site of the former Trentside Social Club, in Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, which had fallen into disrepair.

Installation of the steel framework for the first of two apartment blocks has now been completed, giving the developer the chance to photograph views that can be expected from the penthouse units once construction is finished.

Peter James Homes has also announced their partnership with Mackintosh kitchens for the 34 new apartments. Mackintosh’s range of premium quality kitchens are built using the finest materials from around the world but manufactured right here in the UK in the heart of Yorkshire and inspired by celebrated Scottish architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

With overall building work progressing well, despite the challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the development is on schedule for completion by spring 2022.

Nottingham property agent FHP Living, which is marketing the apartments on behalf of Peter James Homes, is encouraging potential buyers to register their interest early in order to avoid disappointment in the current fast-moving property market.

Steve Parker, director of FHP Living, said:

“Seeing the future penthouse views for the first time illustrates just how amazing these new apartments will be to live in. We can’t wait to show people around when this magnificent riverside development is completed next year.

“But, given the speed at which people are snapping up new homes at the moment, I would urge anyone interested to get in touch as soon as possible.”

The 34 apartments, divided between the two blocks, will consist of one, two and three-bedroom units, including the two luxury penthouses.

Future residents will not only benefit from exceptionally high-spec finishing, such as silestone worktops in the Mackintosh kitchens, they will also be a stone’s throw from the popular bars, shops and restaurants of West Bridgford - and a short walk over the River Trent from Nottingham city centre.

MaryClaire Morgan, sales manager at Peter James Homes, said:

“It’s fantastic to see Riverside properly taking shape. The construction team has done an incredible job to remain on schedule in this challenging time.

“We’re very confident that these apartments, with the stunning views over the water, will prove hugely popular among homebuyers looking for something a bit special.”

Other waterfront developments along the River Trent marketed by FHP Living have included The Yacht Club, Trent Bridge Quays and The Waterside Apartments.
