NHS STAFF at Derbyshire’s Langwith Medical Centre have been gifted a selection of treats and hygiene products from construction giant Stepnell, to help lift spirits during the covid-19 crisis.
The company's East Midlands office showed its support and appreciation for the NHS by delivering a selection of cleaning products, disposable gloves, biscuits, Easter eggs, tea and coffee to say thanks to the key workers for their efforts on the coronavirus frontline.
Tom Sewell, regional director at Stepnell, said:
“As a company, we think it’s really important that we give something back to our local community and support NHS staff who are putting their lives at risk to protect the rest of the country during these challenging times.”
Stepnell completed construction of the new, state-of-the-art medical centre in 2019, providing patients with access to modern facilities and a wider range of services.
“Not only do we want to show our support and gratitude for the team of essential workers, but we also want to make sure we continue to support our clients, past and present, and do everything we possibly can to help them get through these unprecedented times – no matter how big or small. ”
Rachael Carter, practice manager at Langwith Medical Centre, said:
“The practice is currently extremely busy and unpredictable, so our staff have been working extra hard to keep things ticking over.
“We’re very grateful for the donations made by Stepnell and the team appreciate all of the support they are receiving during this difficult period.”
