Love Business partners back its ‘2020 Vision’ to connect organisations across the East Midlands

Love Business, the East Midlands’ largest annual B2B expo, is set to mark its biggest and best event yet when it returns in 2020.

Taking place on Tuesday 27 February, at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough, it is set to attract hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of delegates and dozens of high-profile partner organisations.

East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) is once again the event’s headline sponsor. Other local organisations lending their support include the Institute of Directors, the Federation of Small Businesses, Mocha Communicates, Accent Commercial Resources, Workplace Diversity Solutions, AIM Awards, KuKu Connect and Inchcape Lexus.

The agenda for the day is being finalised, but visitors can expect and an action-packed mix of business success stories, insight from local and national business and political leaders, and advice from industry experts across a wide range of business sectors.

Steve Megson, Managing Director of Quiet Storm Solutions, which founded the event in 2011, said: “What started as a one-off business event has grown into a movement which really touches and engages people and drives collaboration and economic growth which, in turn, translates into jobs and prosperity for local people.

“Our original idea was to bring grant funding agencies, business support organisations, the universities and colleges, together, to really enable them to focus on serving the SME sector as a customer base.

“Year-on-year, the event has grown in size, delegate numbers and interest and has become a firm fixture in the annual business calendar in the East Midlands as a real celebration of local business success.”

Now in its ninth year, Love Business has built a reputation as the region’s biggest B2B expo and a must-attend event in the East Midlands business calendar.

It has had a huge positive impact on the economy and the community in the East Midlands, providing a great platform for local businesses to showcase their products and services, share their good news and make vital new connections.

David Pearson, the Chamber’s Director of Partnerships, added: “We’re delighted to once again be backing Love Business as headline sponsor in 2020, as a clear demonstration of our commitment to enhancing businesses and communities across the East Midlands.

“Although running or leading a business is extremely rewarding, it can be a lonely place, yet most of the people who own or manage SMEs are passionate about their trade and love the buzz of it.

“Love Business encapsulates all of that, as well as connecting businesses with all the organisations, like the Chamber, which can help SMEs to grow and prosper so they continue to provide jobs and financial security to the wider community.”

Businesses can book an exhibition stand at the event or register for a free delegate pass at www.lovebusinessexpo.co.uk.
