Caring company proud of outstanding recognition

Mansfield-based homecare services provider Respectful Care delivers an 'exceptionally caring' service in its local, according to the results of a recent inspection. 

The firm, which covers Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, was was recently inspected and rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the regulating body for its service.

CQC inspectors stated that “people were truly respected and treated and valued as individuals; and empowered as partners in their care in an exceptional service”.

Additionally, “people were treated with respect and dignity by staff, and they received the personalised care they needed”.

Inspectors also noted that “people received high quality, person-centred care and support that put their interests, preferences and wishes above all else”, and that staff often went above and beyond what was required of them to provide a service that is “exceptionally caring”.

Mark Docherty, who founded Respectful Care, said: “This is fantastic news for the whole team. The sole purpose of the service is to be caring - it’s in our name and in our nature, and so to have the Outstanding rating is brilliant.

“We pride our service on delivering the best possible outcome for our clients by employing exceptionally caring carers.”

Respectful Care is inviting people to read the full inspection report on the CQC website www.cqc.org.uk, which gave the organisation an overall Good rating. The report gives a thorough insight into the high standards and excellence of the areas inspected.

Registered Manager Keeley Riley added: “To be recognised and rated as Outstanding in Caring is overwhelming and we are extremely proud to have achieved such a momentous goal. We will endeavour to heighten the service we provide, whist ensuring the clients remain at the heart of everything we do.”
