Mansfield Innovation Centre scoops prestigious business award

A Nottinghamshire business centre which provides flexible workspace and support to help innovative, early stage businesses to grow has won a prestigious business award.

The Mansfield Innovation Centre was named Business Venue of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber’s recent Nottinghamshire Business Awards.

The awards aim to celebrate and showcase the successes of the best local businesses and organisations from across the region. 

The centre was up against stiff opposition in its category, which was sponsored by Nottingham Forest Football Club.

It provides businesses with the flexibility, space and support they need to grow.

From fully-serviced offices, workshops and shared workspace to conference facilities, meeting rooms and hot desks, the centre supports a wide range of businesses.

It provides dedicated support and advice from on-site business advisers, along with high-speed broadband, free on-site car parking, 24-hour access and security, a professionally-staffed reception, on-site café and day nursery.

It also offers flexible lease terms, giving businesses the ability to scale the office space they require as their business changes.

Hannah Hickman, Centre Manager, said: “We are, naturally, delighted to have won this award. It is testament to not only the hard work of everyone in our small team here, but also to the support we have received, over the years, from the wonderful businesses that have based themselves here or used our services.
