Held on Saturday 12 September 2026, 29 participants took on the challenging Kinder Scout and Mam Tor Circular, covering an impressive 17.7km through the heart of the Peak District which provided a spectacular setting for a day of determination, teamwork and fundraising.
Treetops Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care and emotional support for people living with life-limiting illnesses, helping them live as comfortably as possible. The charity also offers bereavement counselling, practical guidance and ongoing support for families and carers during some of life's most difficult times.
The annual Charity Walk is a key part of Atkins Search's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, and this year's event was another fantastic example of the generosity and spirit of its network.
Anthony Rowe, Managing Director at Atkins Search, said:
"We're incredibly proud of everyone who joined us for this year's Charity Walk. It was a fantastic day that showcased the strength of our construction and property community, with everyone coming together to support such an important cause. We'd like to thank every participant, donor and supporter who helped make the event such a success. Every contribution will help Treetops Hospice continue providing exceptional care and support to local families when they need it most."
Darren Chapman, Operations Director at Clegg Construction, said:
“The camaraderie throughout the day was brilliant, and everyone showed real determination to reach the finish line. We're proud to be part of an event that not only brings our industry together but also helps raise vital funds for a charity doing such important work in our local communities."
John Knight, CEO of Treetops said:
"Everyone involved at Treetops is enormously grateful to those who took part in this sponsored walk. It was a significant challenge and commitment by Atkins Search and their corporate clients on a day that saw a mix of sunshine, wind, rain and fog. Thankyou!"
