Nottingham-based CPMG Architects showcases remarkable first half of 2026 with strategic multi-office growth

Award-winning architectural practice CPMG Architects has showcased a strong first six-months of 2026 with a collection of new appointments and promotions at its headquarters in Nottingham.
Located in Nottingham City Centre, CPMG has welcomed architect Sam Winton together with senior architects Nastasia Artelari and Michael Photiou. They arrive alongside senior architectural technologists Daniel Sarson and Ashley Maxim and architectural technologists Will Hopkins and Lavinder Jandu. Part 1 architectural assistant Michela Liona, Part 2 architectural assistants Stu Napier and Esha Sonar, and accounts assistant Nicolina Rile have also joined the team – adding to the extensive breadth of expertise.
In support of CPMG's strategic service growth, Tom Ridley-Thompson has taken on the new role of associate director within the practice's Nottingham studio with a focus on the practice's low carbon consultancy offering.

In addition to this, the year to date has also seen CPMG expand its presence across the UK with the opening of its studio in Leeds. Heading up this expansion is Alex Walker, who has been promoted to associate director. Alex is leading the studio's strategic aims to build on CPMG’s core strengths in the education, healthcare, residential and industrial sectors.
In the capital, architectural assistant Ieuan Thomas’ recent transition from Nottingham to London highlights CPMG’s strong talent retention and fuels the ongoing team expansion.
Driving CPMG’s ongoing success and growing footprint in the capital as it marks 10 years since its expansion into London, recent key hires include Part 2 architectural assistant Safwa Chowdhury and architectural technologist Zaheen Ibrahimi.
