Corporate Finance Leader Raises £5,000

Tom Summers, Partner at Evolve Corporate Finance, has successfully completed an incredible 24-hour Wattbike challenge, raising more than £5,000 for Big C little c thanks to the incredible support of the East Midlands business community.
Beginning at 12 noon on Tuesday, 22 July, outside Evolve Corporate Finance's Nottingham office at Cubo, Standard Court, Tom cycled continuously for 24 hours, stopping only for essential comfort breaks. Throughout the challenge, he was joined by colleagues, clients, friends and supporters who took to a second Wattbike, sponsoring 30-minute cycling slots and helping to keep the momentum going around the clock.
The funds raised will support Big C little c, a charity that brings businesses together to raise money for charities supporting people affected by cancer and organisations dedicated to improving the wellbeing of children and young people.
Tom Summers said:
"Taking on 24 hours on a Wattbike was one of the toughest things I've ever done, but the support I received throughout the challenge made every minute worthwhile. Seeing so many people give up their time to ride alongside me, donate and cheer me on was fantastic. Raising more than £5,000 for Big C little c is something I'm incredibly proud of, and I'd like to thank everyone who helped make it possible."
The event demonstrated the power of the local business community coming together for a great cause, with riders from a wide range of organisations joining Tom throughout the challenge.
