Fisher German's Ashby-de-la-Zouch team to lead Cadent infrastructure work across the East Midlands

A leading property consultancy has been appointed by Cadent, the UK's largest gas distribution network, to provide planning and land referencing services across the East Midlands following a major review of its supplier delivery model.
Fisher German will support Cadent's infrastructure projects throughout the region under a new contract running for an initial three-year period, with the option to extend for a further two years.
The appointment forms part of Cadent's move to a single-supplier model for its regional business-as-usual land and planning services, designed to create greater consistency across project delivery teams.
Fisher German will provide planning and land referencing services to support the delivery of infrastructure projects across Cadent's network.
The scope of work includes land acquisition, lease renewals, planning applications, access rights, land referencing, negotiation of legal rights and compensation agreements, alongside support for more complex projects through Cadent's specialist framework.
Work in the East Midlands will be led by Fisher German's head office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, drawing on expertise from across the firm's utilities and infrastructure, planning, land rights and GIS teams.
