Grand Opening Confirmed for TOAST & co at Park Farm

Family-run speciality coffee and brunch café to officially open on Saturday 8 August.
The countdown is on for the arrival of TOAST & co, as the family behind the new independent speciality coffee and brunch café prepares to officially open its doors following a six-figure investment in Park Farm Shopping Centre, Allestree, on Saturday 8 August.
Designed to become a neighbourhood destination, the family-run café has been created as a place where friends, families and local residents can meet, work and unwind over speciality coffee, freshly prepared breakfasts, brunches and handcrafted sandwiches in a warm and welcoming environment.
Seating around 30 guests, the café has been thoughtfully designed with comfortable banquette seating, a relaxed lounge area and a breakfast bar, creating a welcoming space for everything from catching up with friends to remote working.
Ahead of opening, the business has appointed four members of staff, creating new employment opportunities while supporting the growth of the independent, family-run venture.
Leading the kitchen is newly appointed Head Chef Bradley Moss, who has carefully curated a menu inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern brunch favourites. With the café's name at the heart of the concept, French toast takes centre stage alongside artisan breakfast classics and freshly prepared lunches.
Signature dishes include the indulgent Summer Bliss French Toast, topped with whipped maple mascarpone, summer fruit compote and toasted hazelnuts; Pistachio & Strawberry French Toast, featuring pistachio mascarpone, fresh strawberries and a chocolate drizzle; and the sweet and savoury Maple & Bacon French Toast, served with smoky bacon jam, crispy bacon pieces and whipped maple butter.
The brunch menu also features Whipped Feta & Peach on artisan sourdough, Crushed Avocado with lemon, chilli and dill whipped butter, a hearty Toast Breakfast, classic Eggs Benedict, and freshly prepared sandwiches including the Tuna Crunch Melt and Chicken Caesar.
TOAST & co will proudly serve speciality coffee from local Derbyshire roasters 47 Degrees, while its cakes and bakes will be freshly made by fellow independent business The Cake Club Derby, bringing an ever-changing selection of handcrafted sweet treats to the café each week. The café will also be managed by Reza Kashefi, owner of The Cake Club Derby, whose experience and passion for quality food and customer service will help lead TOAST & co's day-to-day operations.

We wanted to develop a menu that feels fresh, creative and full of flavour while still offering the comforting brunch favourites people know and love. As the café is called TOAST & co, it felt only right to feature a selection of French toast dishes, giving a nod to the name, alongside a menu packed with breakfast and brunch favourites. I can't wait to welcome everyone through the doors and share what we've been working on."

The official opening at 9am on Saturday 8 August will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the family business. To allow the team to focus on welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth launch, the full brunch menu will be introduced after opening day. Visitors attending the grand opening will be able to enjoy speciality coffee, freshly baked cakes and sweet treats from The Cake Club Derby, along with a selection of drinks.
TOAST & co will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am–4pm.
