PKF Smith Cooper announce latest promotions

PKF Smith Cooper has announced a new wave of promotions across its Midlands offices, effective from 1st July 2026, strengthening the specialist teams behind its award-winning accounting and advisory services.
The news comes one week after the firm’s shortlisting for Accounting Excellence’s Employer of the Year award, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to developing and retaining team talent.
The latest promotions recognise people across multiple service lines who have made significant contributions to the firm’s continued growth. Notable promotions include Katie Whitworth (Employment Tax) and Rebecca Hawkins (Audit) who step up to the role of Senior Manager in recognition of their impact within their respective service lines.
The Audit team continues to expand its leadership resource, with Helena Sale, Niamh Cullen and Joshua Rayment promoted to Managers. Further promotions include Pauline Manuel, Holly Anderson, Alison Storey and Alex Orme to Assistant Manager.
Within Business Services, Alex Cranstone, a valued member of our Ashbourne team, has been promoted to Manager.
Following an active year of dealmaking, PKF Smith Cooper Corporate Finance has promoted Callum Leslie, who was shortlisted for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at Insider East Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2026, to Manager. Jason Sackey has also been promoted to Assistant Manager. In the firm’s growing Transaction and Advisory Services team, Brendan Nightingale has also been promoted to Assistant Manager.
In the Learning and Development team, Qais Hussain has also been promoted to Assistant Manager, reflecting his key role in supporting and developing the firm’s trainees.
