Leicestershire children's charity receives boost from local housebuilder

Leicestershire housebuilder David Wilson Homes has donated £300 to Lifting Children’s Hopes, a Thurmaston-based charity supporting disadvantaged children and young people across the East Midlands.
The housebuilder’s donation will help Lifting Children’s Hopes continue delivering its wide range of programmes designed to improve the wellbeing, confidence and life opportunities of children affected by poverty, bereavement and difficult home circumstances.
The charity provides essential items, mental health support, access to school trips, short breaks, and opportunities to enjoy hobbies and family experiences that many families may otherwise struggle to afford.
Located near David Wilson Homes’ Thorpebury in the Limes development in Thorpebury, Lifting Children’s Hopes works closely with schools and community partners to ensure children receive practical support at the time they need it most.
