Food, fundraising and fun at JPS Nottingham AVAIL Housing Hub open day

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) Nottingham AVAIL Housing Hub celebrated a fun-filled open day, complete with construction-themed challenges, free refreshments, and fundraising activities for a local charity.

To mark the launch of the new space, which is designed to help housing providers and contractors access materials smarter, faster and more reliably, customers were invited to explore the brand new hub in Nottingham.

A ‘Builders Blitz’, where attendees took part in fun, construction-themed challenges, helped to raise more than £200 for local charity Reubens Retreat.

The JPS team also held insightful talks, hosted networking sessions with suppliers and provided guided tours of the new purpose-built facility.

Mitchel Sherwood, Branch Manager at JPS Nottingham AVAIL Housing Hub, said:

“The event proved to be a great success, bringing together key suppliers and customers to showcase the strong collaborative partnerships we have continued to build and develop.

“It was also a pleasure to support one of our partners, Jigsaw Homes Midlands, and their chosen charity, Reuben’s Retreat. This would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our suppliers and customers, whose donations helped make the raffle and prize giveaways such a success.

“The hub is a fantastic facility for housing providers, contractors and our partners, and the open day was a great opportunity to show the local community what we can offer, as well as saying thank you to our team and partners for making it happen.”

Mick Archer, Assistant Director at Jigsaw Homes Midlands, said:

“The organisation, effort and commitment Mitchel and his team put into the event certainly did not go unnoticed. The support shown by both suppliers and partners throughout the day was exceptional, alongside some truly innovative ideas being shared.

“Over the past three years, JPS has consistently supported us and our chosen charities without hesitation. This has allowed us to strengthen and showcase our partnership, and highlights just how much we value the relationship.”
