Countdown on to Alex's Wish Event with 120 Hypercars and Supercars Confirmed

With just one week to go until the 2026 Alex’s Wish Supercars event, organisers have confirmed an incredible line-up of 120 hypercars and supercars set to descend on Ratcliffe College on Sunday 31st May 2026.

Taking place from 10am–3pm, the annual fundraising event for Alex’s Wish is shaping up to be the biggest and most exciting edition yet, with more than 40 Ferraris already registered alongside an impressive collection of Aston Martins, McLarens, Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Porsches.

Leading the line-up is the breathtaking LaFerrari Aperta, an ultra-rare hypercar valued at an estimated £12 million. Launched in 2016 to celebrate Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, the LaFerrari Aperta is one of the most exclusive cars ever built, with just 210 in existence worldwide. Capable of accelerating from 0–60 mph in under three seconds and reaching speeds of over 217 mph, its appearance is expected to be one of the highlights of the day.

Joining the growing display will also be the brand-new Aston Martin Valhalla, one of the most eagerly anticipated supercars in the world. Combining Formula One-inspired performance technology with dramatic design, the Valhalla represents Aston Martin’s next generation of high-performance engineering and is expected to attract huge attention from visitors. Other standout vehicles confirmed include the new Ferrari F80, Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, New 849 Testarossa, Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster and Porsche 911 GT3 RS, plus much more.

The event will once again feature spectacular convoy arrivals throughout the morning, creating a memorable experience for visitors from the moment gates open. The Ferrari Owners Club and Graypaul Nottingham will lead the charge with 40 Ferraris arriving together at 10:30am, followed by an Aston Martin convoy at 10:45am. Shortly after, Supercars of Birmingham will make a dramatic entrance with more than 20 incredible supercars arriving together at around 11am, before Bentley and Lamborghini complete the convoy schedule at 11:15am.

Beyond the supercars, organisers have confirmed a significantly expanded film and TV display area for 2026. Visitors will be able to see the Optimus Prime transported lorry, towering 7ft Transformers characters, real-life Lightning McQueen cars, a vehicle featured in the hit TV series Luther, and an Aston Martin DB5 linked to the iconic James Bond films.

Entertainment across the day will include:

  • F1 Pit Stop Challenge
  • Multi-player racing simulator
  • Leicestershire County Cricket masterclass
  • Dako Flying Angels acrobatic display team
  • Fire engine display
  • Tractor rides
  • Crafts Corner - families can explore Ratcliffe College’s virtual campus tour, enjoy children’s arts and crafts, decorate a crown, get face painting, and pick up a free goodie bag, with some exciting prizes to be won!
  • Brass Band performances from Whetstone CLCGB
  • Various stalls and exhibitors

The Supercars event is organised by Alex’s Wish, a charity founded in 2012 by Emma and Andy Hallam to fund research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a devastating muscle-wasting condition that affects 1 in every 3,500 boys – including their own son, Alex. Funds raised through the event help accelerate the search for new treatments and ultimately a cure. Following a hugely successful 2025 event, which raised £28,000, organisers are aiming to make 2026 their biggest fundraising year yet.

With just one week remaining until the event, organisers are encouraging families, car enthusiasts and supporters to secure tickets before they run out and follow Alex’s Wish social media channels for further vehicle announcements.
