Birds Bakery to open second store in Loughborough

Birds Bakery has announced that it will be opening a second store in Loughborough, strengthening its presence in the town and bringing Birds’ total number of stores to 62 across the Midlands.
The new bakery, located on Lansdowne Drive in Shelthorpe, will officially open its doors on Thursday 28 May and will complement Birds’ existing town centre location.
Positioned on one of Loughborough’s key commuter routes, the new store has been designed to offer customers a convenient stop for breakfast, lunch, barista-style coffee and treats throughout the day, with the added benefit of easy parking.
The new location will feature comfortable seating areas, creating a welcoming space for customers to meet, relax and enjoy Birds’ wide range of products, from iconic bakery favourites to expanded “grab-and-go” options designed to keep customers fuelled throughout the day.
Customers can expect Birds’ much-loved products such as sausage rolls, sweet treats and handcrafted coffees, alongside new lunch menu items, including a Chicken Caesar Salad Bowl and Mixed Cheese and Onion Salad with Jalapeño Relish, along with a range of new filled rolls and sandwiches. All products are prepared with premium ingredients and delivered fresh every day, either crafted on-site or at Birds’ Derby bakery.

Birds Bakery’s new Lansdowne Drive store will open seven days a week at 77-79 Lansdowne Drive, Loughborough, LE11 2BX.
